Company Secretarial Administrator
Working for a firm of Chartered Accountants in central Southampton, the Company Secretarial Administrator is a key member of the Business Support Services team, and will be the primary point of contact for Company Secretarial services across the firm. The Business Support Services team provides payroll, management accounting and company secretarial service to clients and sits within the Commercial Department.
Key responsibilities:
- To maintain accurate client statutory records ( all companies and LLPs), using the Diligent database
- Ensuring all company filing requirements and deadlines are monitored and communicated effectively to managers
- Preparation and filing of dormant accounts at Companies House
- Annual filing of charities accounts
- Incorporation of new companies
- Administration of share transfers, changes of registered office, changes of accounting dates, striking off companies and handling of filing fees
- Maintaining paperwork associated with dividends
- Preparation and filing of annual confirmation statements, including processing payments where appropriate. Liaising with clients to ensure the statements are completed within statutory timescales
- Managing correspondence with Companies House
- Simple amendments to Articles of Association and share capital reductions
- Liaising with solicitors for more complex transactions
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:
- A minimum of three years experience in Company Secretarial administration and ideally with an Institute ICSA qualification.
This role could be either Full time or part time c25 hours per week
