Temporary Housing Administrator
Job Overview
This is a 6-9 month temporary contract for an administrator with previous Housing Options/Homelessness Services experience, to provide day to day support to all members of the Housing Options team to assist with the delivery of a high quality Housing Options Service.
Responsibilities
- Meet customers in reception to take copies of ID and load onto the Housing System
- Liaise with local providers of temporary accommodation
- Make online bookings and payments for accommodation, recording records of all payments to reconcile at the end of the month.
- Support with applications to the housing waiting list
- Keep a record of the fire safety assessments and certifications for accommodation.
- General administrative support as required.
Required Experience
- A customer orientated approach
- Some experience in the delivery of Housing Services administration
- Excellent IT skills particularly Excel
