Technical Sales Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Manager to join our Client’s Successful Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, promoting technical engineering products and solutions, and driving sales growth as well as taking Branch Management Responsibilities.
Previous experience in HVAC, building materials, or related technical trade environment is essential.
This role requires a professional with excellent communication skills, a solid understanding of an engineering environment, and the ability to present complex technical information in an accessible manner.

Duties
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets within the technical sector.
- Identify potential clients and generate new business opportunities through networking, and attending industry events.
- Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service and technical support.
- Collaborate with your support team which includes account management support from within The Branch.
- Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, and contracts using industry specific software.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements to inform sales strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using organisational tools.
Skills
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Comfortable managing a small team and P+L within Branch Operations
- Strong customer service orientation with a proactive approach to client engagement.
- Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for preparing reports and presentations as well as being comfortable adopting bespoke programs.
- Knowledge of HVAC products, systems and market trends
- Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Organisational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
