Stores Team Lead
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Store Team Leader to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a small team of 6, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This role requires previous Goods in and Stock control of high value product lines
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve operational goals and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory levels using the warehouse management system to optimise stock control. (currently using EXFAX and transitioning to INFOL)
- Coordinate the goods in area, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.
- Conduct regular training sessions for team members , safety protocols, and best practices in materials handling.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor team performance, holiday rota’s etc providing feedback and support to foster professional development.
Skills
- Proficient in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Experience with receiving processes within a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Strong leadership abilities to inspire and guide team members towards success.
