A permanent nights position (after initial training) offering extended holiday leave and working with a “clean” and modern high precision production environment for one of the country’s best known brands. you should have previous knowledge of maintenance and servicing of production line plant and will be exposed to conveyor systems, CNC based equipment as well as robotic mechanisms as part of the regular responsibilities.

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both electrical and mechanical maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and effectively. The Maintenance Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of safety and reliability within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including logic controllers.
• Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance, demonstrating strong mechanical knowledge.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from other departments.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Experience

• Proven experience in a similar maintenance role, ideally within a production / manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
