Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our Client’s warehouse team on a temporary to permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to handle materials efficiently and safely, supporting warehouse management and logistics operations. This role requires a focus on accuracy, safety, and mechanical aptitude to ensure smooth shipping and receiving processes.

Duties

• Operate counterbalance forklifts to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse
• Assist with materials handling, ensuring items are moved safely and accurately
• Support shipping and receiving activities by organising incoming and outgoing stock
• Maintain a clean, organised work environment adhering to safety standards
• Collaborate with team members to optimise warehouse operations and improve workflow

Experience

• Proven experience operating counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse setting
• Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing minor repairs
• Experience in materials handling, load & unload operations, and shipping & receiving processes
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to forklift operation
