Legal Administrator
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Legal Administrator to join our Client’s professional team. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support within their residential conveyancing department, ensuring smooth operations and efficient handling of legal documentation. Duties
- Manage and maintain legal files, records, and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist in preparing legal documents, reports, and correspondence
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and court dates, ensuring all relevant parties are informed
- Conduct analysis of legal data and summarise findings for review by senior staff
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal teams and external clients or partners
- Support the legal team with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document organisation
- Liaise with external agencies or authorities as required to facilitate legal processes
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and legal regulations at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a legal or professional environment
- Strong analysis skills to interpret legal data effectively
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Exceptional customer service skills to assist internal teams and external clients courteously
- Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., MS Office Suite) and document management systems
- Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in all work undertaken
- Ability to work independently whilst also collaborating effectively within a team
- One year previous experience in conveyancing is ideal; further training will be provided for the right candidate
