Office Junior/Administrator

Overview
We are seeking a proactive and organised Office Junior/Administrator to join our Client’s team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their administrative skills within a professional environment. The successful candidate will support daily office operations, ensuring smooth communication and efficient workflow. Prior office experience is preferred, but a keen attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with general administrative duties including filing, data entry, and document management
  • Answer phone calls with professional etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence via email and postal services
  • Maintain organised records using Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Support the Contracts team with scheduling appointments, meetings, and calendar management
  • Input data accurately into office systems
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as required with training provided
  • Ensure the office environment remains tidy and well-organised at all times
  • Provide support with invoicing, billing, and basic bookkeeping tasks after training when required

Skills

  • an enthusiasm to start a professional office based career
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • eager to gain experience with accounting software is desirable
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Good keyboard speed and accuracy for data entry tasks
  • Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Familiarity with clerical procedures and basic bookkeeping principles is advantageous
