Paralegal
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Client’s legal team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to the firm by conducting legal research, preparing documents, and managing case files. This role requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and proficiency in various office software applications as well as previous Private Client experience – ideally having worked on Court Protection cases
Duties
- Conduct thorough legal research and compile relevant information for cases.
- Draft, review, and edit legal documents, including contracts, wills, and correspondence.
- Organise and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in Private Client legal matters.
- Manage schedules and deadlines using office software such as Outlook to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Utilise IT skills to maintain databases and manage electronic filing systems.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the office.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Degree Educated in Law ideally or qualified by experience in Private Client matters
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel for document preparation and data management.
- Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills within the legal field.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
