Executive Assistant to Head of Sales and Marketing

An exciting opportunity to join a technical manufacturing company who work across Europe as an Executive Assistant to the Head of Sales and Marketing, in a newly created role.

The role will be responsible for supporting the Head of Sales and Marketing with the usual EA responsibilities, along with, importantly, following up on all tasks set by the Head of Sales and Marketing with the relevant people to ensure task completion to deadline.

Responsibilities:

 Marketing 

• Overseeing marketing activities carried out by the marketing team to ensure all are on track and deadlines are met.
• Monitoring of new business opportunity outcomes to report back on ROI
• Assisting with annual sales and marketing plan implementation
• Monitoring marketing campaigns for new product launches
• Assisting with market research, competitor product investigations
• Assisting with new product introduction process

Sales

• Fielding support requests from UK and overseas sales teams, and customer service queries
• Tracking sales projects ensuring project milestones are reached
• Support the distributor network alongside the sales team and Head of Sales and Marketing
• Data extraction and reports
• Assist with pricing – pricelists and price increases
• Generation of target customer lists for sales to follow up

General

• Recording and distributing minutes of meetings and follow up on action points
• Fielding incoming emails
• Preparing PowerPoint presentations
• Diary and travel arrangements
• Expenses and credit card management

To be successful you will ideally have a marketing background/understanding and have supported at a senior level previously, with great IT skills including PowerPoint, happy to make decisions and work independently. A language would be advantageous.

This is an office based opportunity, working 8.30am – 5.00pm near Winchester.
