Yard Worker

Job Description – Yardperson: You will be working as part of a Workshop/ Service team and will be responsible for:

• All equipment cleaning and refuelled if required

• Assist with the general maintenance and repair services for the depot

• Ensure the yard/depot area is kept clean, tidy and organised

• Carry out stock counts as directed by a supervisor

• Refuelling of equipment when directed by a supervisor

• Ensure safe working practises are employed

• Maintain a smart and professional appearance at all times

• To observe Health and Safety regulations at all times and report any concerns

• To follow any reasonable request made by the supervisor or his representative in the operation of the Service Department

• Ensure all equipment has new logos prior to leaving depot

• Follow driver digital process when delivering and collecting assets

• Ensure all equipment looks smart clean and presentable – painting /washing / logos

You should also have the following attributes:

• Ability to communicate effectively with all clients and staff

• Attention to details & promote efficiency

25 days holiday plus BH Overtime @ time ½ Training provided Use of company vehicle if needed
